Established in 2008 in Milton Keynes, UK, Puffin Solutions was formed to deliver specialist data network cabling services on behalf of small to large blue chip companies. We have been providing trustworthy cabling equipment and services on a contract basis for clients in Europe, the USA, Dubai and Singapore, who require bespoke IT and data infrastructure solutions.
Our company ethos is simple: to bring together engineers and technicians with a broad range of skills and experiences, allowing Puffin to deliver the unique IT and data infrastructure services to top global standards.
The company has enjoyed constant growth since its inception in 2008 - both in terms of turnover and employees - despite the difficult global economic climate at the time. In some ways, starting at this time allowed Puffin to concentrate on investment in essential areas where returns were at their greatest.
Our attitude to any data network and IT project is very much "can do"; from Senior Management through to the engineers delivering first-rate solutions at your premises. We have the abilities to resolve any technical challenges and consult with you to arrive at a bespoke solution. Our technical team are all CSCS approved and CRB checked as well. Some of our employees are also SC - and DV Cleared.
What is Security Clearance?
It provides a certain level of assurance at a point in time, as to an individual's suitability to have trusted access to sensitive information.
Personnel Security vetting is carried out so that people may take certain jobs that need a national security clearance. These jobs and tasks are located throughout the Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces, as well as in the private sector dealing with defence related work. In addition, a number of other government departments and organisations require Security Clearance.
We ensure that our engineers have the right qualifications for the right job. If they are working on scaffolding then they will have a PASMA certificate and if they need to use a mobile platform they will be IPAF trained.
