Profile

Vocal Coach, Singing and Voice teacher

Do you sing or speak to groups of people? I can help with many aspects of voice, rehabilitation, expression, anxiety, and confidence.
Do you sing in a choir, but do not have free and comfortable access to your full pitch and dynamic range, tone and expressive abilities?
Would you like to find your voice although you have never sung before?
Is there still something not right with the way you sing despite an ENT Voice clinic investigation finding nothing, and or having had speech therapy?
Do you want to sing like the stars? You may find that singing as yourself can get you to the top.

Teaching

Classical, Opera, Jazz, Music Theatre, Rock and Pop and Speech.
Beginner or advanced: I will guide you to a way of singing or speaking that will give you the ability to express what you want to express. I transform people's states of being and breathing, free them emotionally, and physically, help them to find themselves and sing from the heart.
Singing and Speaking: Achieve vocal freedom, flexibility and stamina. Sing and speak without strain. Release excess tension. Find your own beautiful, unique tone. Have a strong, healthy, voice that you will be able to rely upon for life.
Troubleshooting: Vocal problem prevention and rehabilitation. Free, comfortable access to your full pitch, dynamic, tone range, including singing like you speak, belt, twang, mix, falsetto, sob, opera, and working from primal sounds. Also I have been using semi- occluded vocal tract exercises and elements of what is now called "Accent Method" since the 1990's. I can help you to get rid of habits that cause the voice to tire easily or not to function healthily. You will not do anything unnecessary while you sing or speak, so that you free your voice and can express yourself fully. No reaching for high notes or digging for low ones.
Maximize expressive abilities: Communicate with complete commitment of body and soul. Put all your passion and enthusiasm into your singing or speaking. Be able to focus on what you are saying or singing, without having to worry about your voice.
Feel confident: Transform your state of being and breathing. Get rid of performance anxiety. Sing or speak your heart out in front of an audience or just in the shower if you prefer.
Speeches and Presentations: I can help your voice to be an integral part of being a leader, inspiring a team or presenting with authority, impact, clarity and conviction.
